Christian Danneskiold-Samsøe
Hans Christian Erik Viggo count Danneskiold-Samsøe was a Danish count in the Danish order's 1st rank class, no. 13, editor, manufacturer and 9th chief director of Gisselfeld 1969- 1975, half-brother of Knud Danneskiold-Samsøe. He was the owner of Danmarks Porcelænsmaleri and Porcelænsfabrikken Helvetia.
Christian Danneskiold-Samsøe was born on March 25, 1915 and was a direct descendant in the male line of King Christian V of Denmark and Norway as well as the royal family of Oldenborg. He was the son of cand.agro., proprietor, landowner Viggo Count Danneskiold-Samsøe (1874-1936) and his wife born Baroness Bodil Marie Stella Lindholm (daughter of Baron Hans Adolph Reinhardt Sophus (Ado) von Lindholm and Musse Scheel owner of Hvidøre and Palæet Kristaniagade 5).
On 20 February 1943 he married Héléne Caroli Künzli (daughter of Max Carl Künzli and Marguerite Walder). In 1969, he followed his half-brother as chief executive at Gisselfeld.
