Jacques Diéval is a musician and composer of jazz French, born 21 September 1921 at Douai . He is a pianist and has been dubbed the Debussy of Jazz.
He hosted the radio program Jazz on the Champs-Elysees between 1954 and 1955 .
He also collaborated on various projects with musicians such as Guy Lafitte , and lyricists as Boris Vian wrote two texts which in 1945 : It was only a shadow of a cloud and I made an appointment with the wind .
In 1949 , Jack became the accompanist Diéval music of Henri Salvador .
He won the Grand Prix of the 2001 jazz SACEM .
